Chinjak Festival(5)-International, 2014 is organized by Innovative Youth Society, Imphal in association with BOSS JUICES, Imphal. Media Partnered by Imphal Free Press

From 6 –16 November, 2014 at Pisum Yaipha Lamjing Lup Ground, Pisum Ningom Leikai, Pisum, Imphal West, Manipur.

40 local stalls and 5 International stalls shall produce 140 local Traditional & Indigenous menu and 20 International menus.

As an initiative to promote or encourage various Local, National and International Tourist foodies to be attracted through this mouth watering and taste bud tantalizing festival of foods. The IYS is committed to organize Indigenous fodd festival every year with an objective to Preserve Promote and Produce the Indigenous foods of Manipur and North East India at large.

A Public Kitchen shall be set up for the visitor’s where each one of you can learn and experience the art of preparing indigenous and traditional foods of Manipur which will be guided and supported by volunteers of the festival with recipe.

Objective of the Chinjak Festival-International is to get exposure and opportunity to exchange the knowledge of food catering, garnishing, management and culture etc. and also to attract the visitors by introducing various international menus during the festival.

In the next five years, the Chinjak Festival Management Team is looking forward to serve the world with various Indigenous and Traditional Foods of Manipur.
